Hairspray - February 2025
Set amidst the backdrop of 1960s Baltimore, this musical based on the John Water’s film of the same name explores some pretty charged and unfortunately still relevant topics of fatphobia, racism, and bullying with a very upbeat, comedic and positive style. You can’t help but fall in love with Tracy Turnblad and the rest of the story of “Hairspray”.
Company - April 2025
Following the interactions of a confirmed Bachelor named Bobby and his married friends, Stephen Sondheim’s “Company” explores what it means to “be alive”. With a recent revival pivoting the perspective to a female Bobbie, we’re looking forward to presenting our perspective on the original script.
Can-Can - October 2025
Journeying to Paris, France 1893 we visit the Bal du Paradis, a Moulin Rouge-esque dance hall owned by female entrepreneur, Pistache. When a “by the letter of the law” judge moves into the district determined to shut down the dance hall for their constant performing of illegal and provocative dancing, the dance between morals, law and love begins. Filled to the brim with energy and handful of classic tunes (that most people don’t realize are from this show), we are thrilled to be presenting Cole Porter’s “Can-Can”.
